Mission Critical Website

When I clicked on the Mission Critical website, I really sure what to read.  I clicked on the "About Mission Critical" page and read about that.  From this website I found out what he website is all about and what its goal was.  The website said is to create a "virtual lab," capable of familiarizing users with the basic concepts of critical thinking in a self-paced, interactive environment.  After reading the "About" page, I decided to go through all the concepts that were listed below.  For example there were, The Basics, Analysis of Arguments, Fallacies/Non-Rational Persuasion, and other common fallacies.  I have already previously learned about these subjects but it was good, refreshing my memory.  I didn't know what the website was all about at first, but now I have a pretty good idea, and the information is pretty useful and the exercises were as well.

  1. I liked your review of the Mission Critical website. You touched on a lot of the subjects covered in this website and in class. I found this website to be extremely helpful as well as it provides many great examples of everything we have been covering in class. I liked the ones that you chose and how you explained each one in a clear way. This website had a great deal of information and is a bit overwhelming, but your post just goes to show how in depth this actually is. It provides a lot of different aspects that we are covering such as the examples you chose.

  2. Dear Sean,
I like your post on the mission critical website because it was very clear and useful. For someone that has not seen the website, your description of it would make a lot of sense and it would also make navigating the site much easier. I agree with you that this site is useful and does a good job in refreshing our memories of what we have already learned that may have been forgotten. I also like that you read the "about" section because I didn't and I just started on the sections and I'm sure reading that helped you learn more about the websites intentions. Nice job on your posts! :)
